I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own more than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
It’s YOU
I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
Don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
I don’t need to hang my stocking there upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won’t make me happy with a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
Yooou baby
I won’t ask for much this Christmas
I won’t even wish for snow
I’m just gonna keep on waiting underneath the mistletoe
I won’t make a list and sent it to the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won’t even stay awake to hear those magic reindeer’s click
Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding onto me so tight
What more can I do? ?
All I want for Christmas is you
Yooou baby
Oh! All the lights are shining so brightly everywhere (so brightly baby)
And the sound of children’s laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won’t you bring me the one I really need
Won’t you please bring my baby to me? oooh
I don’t want a lot for Christmas
This is all I’m asking for
I just wanna see my baby standing right outside my door
I just want you for my own more than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
Yooou baby
All I want for Christmas is you baby
You’re all I want
You’re all I need
Christmas day baby you and me
You’re all I want
You’re all I need
Christmas Day baby you and me

Looking out my window glass
I see a sight that will not last
Tho I am warm within my robe
T’is like I’m in a big snow globe
Out every window, I can see
Flakes of white surrounding me
Swirling, twirling, to and fro
Dance the pure white flakes of snow
They twist and turn, I feel the thrill
They’re racing towards my window sill
Mystical bits of flying fluff
My eyes just cannot get enough
As time goes on, they tire out
They flit and spin and float about
Some on roof tops, some in trees
Landing softly, where they please
Changing landscapes, creating scenes
Filled with frosted evergreens
They come to rest without a sound
A fleecy blanket on the ground

Well, I woke up this morning
And I set off to the shops
But, Lord, though it’s just November
They’ve put out all their Christmas stock.
I got the Christmas blues
A’heavy on my mind
I get the Christmas blues
Most every Christmas-time.
And as i walked along the aisles
What d’ya think i heard?
Lots of carols and ‘White Christmas’
And i was lost for words.
I got the Christmas blues
Right now it’s Christmas-time
Lord, it’s all got so commercial
Pass me another wine.
I got the Christmas blues
A’heavy on my mind
I get the Christmas blues
Most every Christmas-time.

Who stood outside the door,
He wished that he could come inside,
And run about the floor.
He wished that he could warm himself,
Beside the fire, so red,
He wished that he could climb
Upon the big white bed.
So he called to the North Wind,
«Come and help me, pray,
For I’m completely frozen,
Standing here all day.»
So the North Wind came along,
And blew him in the door,
And now there’s nothing left,
But a puddle on the floor!

A SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

A SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS
The snow lay upon the ground
The spirit of a old native Indian rode into town,
He told stories of hunting buffalo
And how his tribe lived off the land,
But would anybody give
This old Indian a helping hand,
There was no food to be found
Just deep snow on the ground,
The Indian looked old and pale
His cloths were ragged and torn,
The Indian asked food and a drink
And a bed to rest his head,
He would not ask for any more,
So spare a thought this Christmas
Not just for the spirit of a old Indian
But for all the homeless people
Trying to make a living off the land
This Christmas,
why don’t you give them a helping hand.

This is a fun little project the kids loved making last year and were just as thrilled to pull out of the Christmas decorating box And see them again this year.
.
Here are the supplies you will need:
– Figurine ($3 at local toy store) and tree ($1 for 3-pack at dollar store)
*Note, make sure figurine fits in opening of globe!
– Globe (I used a jar from a dollar store $1)
– Snow (here I used finely shredded coconut and sugar to add sparkle)
– Glue gun
– Marker
I am sure it is pretty self-explanatory to do this but here are the steps:
1) If the jar is not even all around, close lid and make a mark on lid where the front of the jar is so you will know which way to place figurine.
2) Open lid and hot-glue figurine and tree to lid
3) Fill globe with snow, close lid and voila!
Christmas list.

Dear Santa, here’s my Christmas list.
I hope you’ll bring it all.
I’ve only asked for gifts my parents
can’t find at the mall.
I’d like to have a UFO,
with aliens inside,
and maybe a Tyrannosaurus Rex
that I could ride.
A ninety-nine foot robot
is a present I could use.
I’ll also need a time machine,
and rocket-powered shoes.
Please bring a gentle genie
who will grant my every wish,
and don’t forget a wizard’s wand,
and, yes, a talking fish.
Of course, I’ll need a unicorn,
and won’t you please provide
a dragon, and a castle
in the English countryside.
Of course, the weight of all these things
might cause your sleigh to crash.
If that’s the case, dear Santa,
please feel free to just bring cash.
