I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own more than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
It’s YOU
I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
Don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
I don’t need to hang my stocking there upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won’t make me happy with a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
Yooou baby
I won’t ask for much this Christmas
I won’t even wish for snow
I’m just gonna keep on waiting underneath the mistletoe
I won’t make a list and sent it to the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won’t even stay awake to hear those magic reindeer’s click
Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding onto me so tight
What more can I do? ?
All I want for Christmas is you
Yooou baby
Oh! All the lights are shining so brightly everywhere (so brightly baby)
And the sound of children’s laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won’t you bring me the one I really need
Won’t you please bring my baby to me? oooh
I don’t want a lot for Christmas
This is all I’m asking for
I just wanna see my baby standing right outside my door
I just want you for my own more than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
Yooou baby
All I want for Christmas is you baby
You’re all I want
You’re all I need
Christmas day baby you and me
You’re all I want
You’re all I need
Christmas Day baby you and me
Inside A Snow Globe

Looking out my window glass
I see a sight that will not last
Tho I am warm within my robe
T’is like I’m in a big snow globe
Out every window, I can see
Flakes of white surrounding me
Swirling, twirling, to and fro
Dance the pure white flakes of snow
They twist and turn, I feel the thrill
They’re racing towards my window sill
Mystical bits of flying fluff
My eyes just cannot get enough
As time goes on, they tire out
They flit and spin and float about
Some on roof tops, some in trees
Landing softly, where they please
Changing landscapes, creating scenes
Filled with frosted evergreens
They come to rest without a sound
A fleecy blanket on the ground

Well, I woke up this morning
And I set off to the shops
But, Lord, though it’s just November
They’ve put out all their Christmas stock.
I got the Christmas blues
A’heavy on my mind
I get the Christmas blues
Most every Christmas-time.
And as i walked along the aisles
What d’ya think i heard?
Lots of carols and ‘White Christmas’
And i was lost for words.
I got the Christmas blues
Right now it’s Christmas-time
Lord, it’s all got so commercial
Pass me another wine.
I got the Christmas blues
A’heavy on my mind
I get the Christmas blues
Most every Christmas-time.

It was upon that day so fair
To celebrate without a care
There was naught to mar the day
As children on the sand did play
For joy to all was with them then
No hate or malice had there been
I remember that little child
Oh so young and meek and mild
A sweet face for all to see
How angelic could one be?
Then out there in waters deep
A line of foam was seen to creep
The sea now it did subside
And from the shore began to hide
Now the child saw sea bed
Where once the sea was overhead
Moving now to closer be
She moved from sand towards the sea
Now the wave it built up high
Yes, as if to touch the sky
With thunderous roar it came on in
Taking child and car and rusty bin
No man or woman did it spare
For gentle child it did not care
No compassion did it feel
Its waves did lash and curl and peels

Most people have heard of mistletoe, particularly at Christmas time. It is a plant which often grows on other trees and shrubs. The white berries are full of a sticky juice.
There are lots of legends and traditions surrounding mistletoe, the most well known and popular being the kissing one. It was believed that kissing under the mistletoe would lead to marriage.
In ancient times the Druids believed that mistletoe would bring good luck and health. Although it has been used to treat some ailments, the berries are poisonous and should not be touched by children.
There has also been a tradition that a good crop of mistletoe is a sign that there will be a good harvest in the following season.

Who stood outside the door,
He wished that he could come inside,
And run about the floor.
He wished that he could warm himself,
Beside the fire, so red,
He wished that he could climb
Upon the big white bed.
So he called to the North Wind,
«Come and help me, pray,
For I’m completely frozen,
Standing here all day.»
So the North Wind came along,
And blew him in the door,
And now there’s nothing left,
But a puddle on the floor!
