I strongly believe in today’s society that we are losing our manners.
It has been happening very slowly. It has crept up on us for years.
Some would hardly notice.
It is not always with young people either that do not use their manners. It is all ages,across the spectrum.
Fingers will always be pointed towards the younger generation. It is the easy opt out option. One would suppose. But is that fair?
Who are we to condemn the younger generation? We were all young once,and know how many mistakes we have sometimes made.
Perhaps we have to go back to basics. To re-educate in schools,where the art of manners can be re-emphasised.
The use of manners develop from social standards which is a part of the process of growing up.
We all have standards that we try to adhere to.
In this day and age time goes so quickly. However I do not think this is a good excuse not to use our manners in today’s society.
